Privacy

This playtest application and installer portal is operated by Vulpeak Interactive.

Applying requires an email address, used for playtest review and invitations. The forms on prototank.ca and vulpeakinteractive.com use the same privately stored application list. Applying again does not create another application or change existing email preferences. Occasional studio news is optional and only enabled with the separate, unchecked checkbox.

Your application email, application time, studio updates choice, review status, invitation expiry and activation are recorded privately in encrypted host storage. The bot sends application details to a private Discord inbox for review; Discord stores those messages under its own privacy terms. Approval emails are sent through Cloudflare Email Service. After activation, the bot sends your personal installer link to your Discord DMs.

Account activation associates your Discord identity with a ProtoTank account and stores a password hash. Discord processes the new password entered in its activation modal; that field is visible while you type. Your personal Discord link signs you in automatically for installer access only, expires after 30 minutes, and is consumed once. Optional password sign-in uses a masked field. Launcher sign-in still requires your account password. Passwords are never written to application logs or included in the installer.

Your account records whether the personal website link and installer download have been used. Installer tickets are scoped to launcher installation, expire after seven days if unused, and bind to the first installation attempt. Existing launcher sign-in and offline access rules continue to apply.

Essential first-party cookies protect forms for up to one hour and keep you signed in for up to 30 minutes. There are no advertising or analytics scripts. Cloudflare protects and tunnels this website and may process connection information under its own privacy terms.

To withdraw your application or unsubscribe from optional studio updates, use the private preference link in your email or contact the ProtoTank team through Discord. Removal retains an encrypted keyed fingerprint to prevent public resubmissions from overriding your request. Already delivered bot messages remain in the private review inbox on Discord. Contact the ProtoTank team for account help, data removal, or an interrupted installer download. See the studio privacy notice for shared application storage and preferences.

Your language choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the website can remember English or French. It is not sent to the studio.
